Sicily Youth Meeting
This was the first Youth Meeting. Would it work??
Pupils were asked first to present their schools. They were also asked to put forward their current conceptions of each other's countries, their motivations for doing the project, and their expectations of the project.

Elevii au fost rugati sa isi prezinte scolile din care vin. Ei au fost de asemenea rugati sa prezinte parerile proprii legate de fiecare dintre ţările prezente, motivaţia lor de a participa la proiect şi aşteptările de la acest proiect.
To było pierwsze Spotkanie Młodych. Wielkie wyzwanie i wielka niewiadoma. Uczniowie mieli zaprezentować swoje miasto oraz swoją szkołę oraz przedstawić swoje oczekiwania związane z projektem.
After our first Youth Meeting, we carefully evaluated the experience. We realised that the format of the meetings was not useful to building relationships between our pupils.
There is a wide range in ages of our pupils, and there is a wide variety of languages and proficiency with English.
Therefore we decided that future Youth Meetings would focus more on developing relationships between pupils, by devising activities that were more active and involved an active integration
The welcome prepared for us all by our Italian partners was phenomenal. It was so warm and made us all feel so special, and incredibly privileged to be able to take part in this visit.
