Hello Partners!

 

    Here is the Romanian school, Scoala Primara Crivina de Sus, situated in the western part of Romania, on the foot of Poiana Rusca mountains and on the banks of river Bega. The surroundings are very basic, you could see them as a return to the simple ways of life or as a one way ticket to the past. Being a part of this project gives us the opportunity to show you the area and we are very lucky to have met you for this.

    Our school is a very small one, comprising only 2 permanent teachers( the primary and the pre-primary teacher) and 3 other travelling teachers who teach some subjects several days a week. We have about 25 students in our school. They come here when they are 3 years old- attending the kindergarten at the pre-primary level, and they leave when they are 10 or 11, at the end of 4th grade. After finishing this primary level school they go to the main school in Pietroasa, where they attend till they finish their 8 th grade.

    Our stundents study a large variety of subjects,from the main ones, like Romanian language and Mathematics to the creative ones, like Art, Design and Music.

    This is our first international project and we are delighted to work and have fun together with you!
