SOU'Prof. dr. Asen Zlatarov' (Secondary school), Parvomay, Bulgaria
The town of Parvomay is located in the Plovdiv Province, central southern Bulgaria. Translated into English the name means 'The First of May'.
The region is mainly agricultural. Mostly vegetables are produces: tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, cabbage, onion, garlic. There are over 500 acres greenhouses. Also sunflower and grapes are grown. Because of vegetable growing there are two Food factories, which process most of the production into ketchup and traditional Bulgarian 'liutenitsa' - the most famous in the country.
