Collège Sainte Marie , Déville-Les-Rouen in Haute-Normandie
Sainte Marie is a private school (catholic) located in an urban area: Déville-les-Rouen.
It is nestled in the valley of the River Cailly among other small towns of Rouen’s metropolitan area. We are not far from the coast (Etretat, Dieppe…) and from Rouen.
Rouen is the Capital of the Haute-Normandie (Upper Normandy) region and the historic capital city of Normandy and is situated on the river Seine
The Haute-Normandie region has a lot to offer: theatres, cinemas, museums, concerts, ports … beautiful scenery and gardens. Rouen is known for its Notre Dame cathedral, with its Tour de Beurre (butter tower). The cathedral was the subject of a series of paintings by Claude Monet, some of which are exhibited in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. The Gros Horloge is an astronomical clock dating back to the 16th century, though the movement is considerably older (1389). It is located in the Gros Horloge street. Rouen is also famous for its surviving half timbered houses.
And last but not least, you are not far from Paris, an hour and a half by train ...
